I don't think many Hull fans would pick out Calderwood as a problem in the side. His effort from marker, chasing kicks and desire to get his hands on the ball, (mainly in our own 20

) are unquestionable.
Due to his stature, his defence is never going to be as strong as a winger twice his size, but he makes up for it in other ways. Over the last six years we've had Colin Best, Blacklock and Sing on that wing, none of whom where man mountains. The problem is that he never gets the ball in dangerous areas.
It's obvious what we need; A new coaching set up from top to bottom, a scrum half (even a mediocre one like Robinson would make all the difference), a big prop forward, centre, a leader (perhaps Fitzgibbon will fill this void?).
