It's different with our ground though. We don't open the upper tier of the West Stand as it would cost too much for so little people using it. The East and South Stands are generally too full to accomodate away fans. Even the West is semi full and I doubt officials would stop away fans going in there, they don't with the few clubs that go in there.
With Huddersfield, we used to mix in the single tier side stand and there were still plenty of seats then. I would have thought that despite the increase in fans, that it would still be big enough to accomadate both. However, I'm sure the away fans got moved to the end stand after a Hudds vs Leeds game where Leeds fans caused a little trouble in that side stand? Could be wrong though but sure I remember something about it from the time
