With the surprising news that Halifax won the Championship side of the year was this a fan voting award or a panel award if it was the later i think the panel has been drinking too much of the sponsers product !! To determine that the eagles are the true side of the year. I have decided to allocate points based on the following 4 Competitions
League - I have divided each teams points total by 3 and awarded an additional
20 points for League Leader
10 points for Runner Up
5 Points for 3rd Place Team
Playoffs -
30 Points for Winner
20 Points for Runner Up
10 Points for Qualifing Semi Final Loss
5 Points for Prem Semi Final Loss
Challenge Cup -
20 Points beating a Super League Team
10 Points for losing to a Super league Team by 12 points or less
10 Points for beating a Championship side by 12 Points or more
5 Points for beating a Championship side (0 points for beating team from lower division)
