Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. As Leigh's points difference is massive (91, same as Eagles) then they would have qualified anyway so in this case the bonus point was irrelevant. I know it isn't to everyone's liking but I personally think that it is fine.
There is another oval ball game which has bonus points system which is much more complicated:
4 points for a win.
2 points for a draw.
1 "bonus" point for scoring 4 tries (or more).
1 "bonus" point for losing by 7 points (or fewer).
