Why? South Wales is a hot-bed of rugby league. Stevo said so himself, so there's no need to persuade anyone from northern England to head south.

"He [Dixon kept faith with a lot of the players that have brought him into the Super League," stated Davies.
"Unfortunately they weren't good enough and ultimately John has lost his job through it."
Do you guys agree? It seems like that from the outside, but, as a poster stated above, if he wasnt given the budget to bring players in what did the board expect to happen?

It would have been very interesting to see what John did with a bit of money if given the chance next season.
As it was I think he thought the players that got us here deserved their chance at the big time. As it was I think this led to his undoing, so to speak, or at least part of it. |
