on the pitch,two home matches stand out a) the demolition of the Wires & b) the gutsy perforrmance in the cup v Salford - the rest was very ordinary stuff sometimes embarassing - they did well against the mighty Saints until OE was stupidly (and correctly) sent off - the rest is instantly forgettable
off the pitch - there were obviously clashes of personalities and the 'alleged' drinking culture amongst a clique of players would have upset BG & co.
