Am I alone in being underwhelmed by this new addition?. Why are we running an academy if we don't promote our young players? Ulugia might well be a great prospect but if he turns out OK he will be back off to the NRL & we will be looking again. I would sooner go to the lower league & give a British lad a go. I wish the lad well but surely there must be a winger/centre good enough for our squad.

You talk about him going back to the nrl but remind me were Scott Taylor rich Beaumont and if were led to believe Jordon Cox are just because there home grown doesn't mean they will stick around

It is disappointing that they go but if we had had faith in them they would have been on longer contracts with built in improvements as they progress. If they moved on we would have got a fee. I am not against overseas players as they have always brought interest to the game but we need top players with star appeal or true professionals who bring skills to the club to teach our young players. As I have said I wish him well but for me give a Brit from the lower leagues a go or promote from our academy.

You must have been devastated when Sam Latus was released that lad would have hung around as long as we wanted. Could have built a team around him, a relegation team.



We don't know how this latest signing will work out but the coach wants him so that's good enough for now.

Disappointing that SL is now only able to attract reserve grade or cast offs from the NRL who no one wants.

Also a stepping stone to get their careers back on track and in the shop window, a number of these cast offs have gone back and played nrl again.

Sam Latus was given his chance & found not to be good enough as in 90% of all young players. The only players I want to see is the odd star of the Jamie Lyons type. Sandercock should spend more time on the phone to British clubs & armature sides than his home country. I am not just a fan of Rovers I am a fan of the game from under 9's to international if we can't produce our own players & push the game forward we deserve to be relegated.
