I'm not sentimental as a fan because I've seen us get tonked at places like Batley so welcomed our massive player cull at the end of our survival season.
However in this instance I would like Wheeldon to stay if possible because I feel he offers a contrast to our other forwards and contributes to our side.
I've spoken to him once and he's a nice kid who grew up a Rovers supporter as a lad and someone has mentioned, I think he may come in useful if Vella goes at the end of next season...
