Thing is Hudgell has already been in trouble with the law on the driving front, and runs a law firm specialising in compensation for, amongst other things, road traffic accidents caused by driving without due care and attention. To dismiss it as something trivial and then to imply that this criminal offence is committed by virtually everyone is poor form. There obviously aren't any moderators that are independent from clubs, as by definition they are fans of the club whose board they moderate, but there is an expectation (rightly or wrongly) that they rise above the behaviour of club apologist.

While I disagree with GML's assessment, surely mods should only be judged by their adherence to the AUP and after that the same standards as other posters - possibly even forgiving the odd bit of weary sarcasm that would afflict any of us if we had to deal with trolls everyday.



Kids, mods are not role models! unless you want to be a mod when you grow up I suppose. I expect they are mostly arsonists, fraudsters and drug abusers (which in no way affects their excellent management of the moderation process, of course).

I'd disagree with you there. Like everyone else a mod is entitled to his own views, especially when it comes to matters that actually have nothing whatsoever to do with the game. For what it's worth I disagree with GML in this instance. When I see this behavior on the road it infuriates me and in my opinion it should lead to a ban.

However it has nothing to do with the club or it's supporters so it seems slightly sad to see the opposing fans swarming all over the forum full of mock indignation. The reality is it's simple point scoring no different to that which went on over Raynor and Cockayne to name but two.
