As for Paea, I know the club offered him very good money - he would have been our top earner hence my confidence why he wouldn't move to another super league club only you lot came in and offered him stupid money so he left.

Paterson has all the physical attributes and talent to be a top-class player but has application problems. I was confident if he had have played he would have put everything into this game and him and Cox on the right could have proved a real handful.



Of course us having a chance to win was dependent on us getting into an arm wrestle which didn't happen because of our poor edge defence.

So the loss of a 2nd rower with "application problems" who was going to play stand off took rovers from a team who were going to be "Too much for saints to deal with" to a side who conceded 6 tries by half time? You're insight into the game is amazing
