Little birdy tells me that Kooga have informed Rovers they will not be able to meet their order for next season, they have their reasons





ISC have said no thanks to the 5 figure fee being requested so who will Rovers turn to now?



Puma are knocking out really poor stuff for Saints now that Genesis are in charge and Kukri, Samurai and O'Neills are nowhere near good enough for a SL contract.



Word on the manufacturing street is that Rovers are struggling to find someone to make their kit next year.

They'll obviously get [isomebody[/i to make their kit eventually, so not really worth worrying about to be honest.

Of course it is worth worrying about, the club are flapping like mad!!

Utter bs - Kooga are grovelling to stay in contract - taken over by JD and been told to sort things out. Rovers have some very interesting options...

Justin Morgan actually went to Kooga headquarters with some staff and picked the colours for the away shirt themselves, and told em not to F up or they won't be going to em for 2011.



Kooga wouldn't dare try and pull something like that.

A contract will have been signed for 3 years (i think it was 3 but not 100%) so compensation will have to be paid for breaking the contract (not to mention the compo for the f up with the slightly pink effort)

I heard the club enquired about Puma, but were advised away from them by other clubs. O'Neills could be in favour.

The stuff Puma put out for RL is terrible, compare it to the quality of Tottenham stuff and you can feel and see a big difference.



O'Neills, Samurai and Steeden are probably the only 3 brands currently making Pro kits in the UK who could afford to pay Rovers £**,000 but none of them will as it is too much of a risk.



Rhino who are probably going to be taing over from Puma at Saints is probbaly the best option but they wont pay much as they only care about Union like Kooga.

As for Kooga they have told Rovers they will not be making the kit, that is why Rovers have been contacting several other people. They are owed thousands and wont take risks like that on a sport they see as second class to their big Union deals. Words of a top Kooga representitive not someone from Rovers club shop
