Hall and Eden back then were match winners and serial brain fast merchants,often in the same game.Both have learnt the hard way and look all round better players now.I liked Hall at 6 but he's shone for us this time on the wing .He and Crooks both deserve a place if we can match the wages offered elsewhere |

Who knows? Could never be proved either way but the situation of us knowing the other 3 results and then Widnes losing half their wonga if we also went down was just bonkers and could only happen with the RFL. Widnes were poor but no more or less than other time iv seen them.The difference was our defence was brutal and we never let them in the game.Overall a decent season when everything is taken into account

Ha ha, I'd like to think not. They are professional sportsmen at the end of the day and professionals do not think like that. Besides bordering on collusion for manufacturing a result.
I just had a serene feeling about the game from almost pre-match warm-up time that they didn't look to be taking the game seriously for whatever reason. I think their day was summed up by the big lad getting up to play the ball only for his knee to buckle and cause a knock-on. They also made some bizarre play decisions from the word go.
But as I said, don't want to take too much away from Rovers who did a really good job on the day. You can only beat what's in front of you..
