Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. If you are having problems logging in, please try a different browser or platform, if problems persist then email support@rlfans.com

Quote ="Mrs Barista"Neither is there a proven cause and effect. IMO Rovers would have had the adrenaline pumping with the stress and excitement of the delay, boosting their performance at the start of the game. Without this they would have been 38 down after 25 minutes rather than just 26. Just as plausible.'" />
If that was a "just as plausible" scenario teams would turn up 5 minutes before every game for the adrenaline fueled boost to the first 25 minutes.
Missing out on the normal pre match preparation is not going to help any teams performance in a game. Only the most retarded troll would try and argue that it would. www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_rolleyes.gif" alt=" icon_rolleyes.gif" title="Rolling Eyes" />
Perhaps the pre match preparation makes no difference to game performance, maybe we just do it because that's what we always do, that might be a possibility if not for the fact that of all the sports scientists, conditioners and trainers that have ever worked with any team in RL none, not one, has ever suggested that warming up is not necessary or beneficial. Have you ever played rugby?
They might all be wrong though so at best it made no difference but on balance the overwhelming evidence can lead us to one conclusion only, and that is that being late most likely was detrimental to the performance of the team and in such a close game that might well have been the difference between winning and losing.
