Stats don't tell the full picture especially when you only post half of them avaliable. How does Tansey's try assists, tackle busts and attacking kicks stack up to Hall's? If you think Craig Hall's contribution to Hull FC is greater than Jordan Tansey's then you need to watch a hell of a lot more of our games.

On the subject of Craig Hall I don't really blame Agar for releasing him. He's been at Hull a long time and Agar has obviously run out of patience. You've got to let players go to bring players in and Agar probably felt that if it was going to happen for Craig Hall it would have done by now.



Even so I think he is well worth giving a chance at Rovers.



I was going to say it is well worth taking a gamble on him but actually it's not much of a gamble at all. I can't imagine he will be in the top earners at Rovers so what's to lose?



If he doesn't produce the goods he'll be a fringe player on low wages who can be called on if needed. He wouldn't exactly be the first to have that status and every club has them.



On the other hand he could be a marvellous signing because we all know he has the talent. If so he'll be around for years to come long after Willie Mason has faded into memory. I really don't know if Craig Hall will achieve this or not but I do think his chances are better with a fresh start at Rovers.
