Yeah, having looked on there I might have to review my thoughts on it, although I'm not sure that a seveteen stone plus prop running and jumping into the tackle isn't dangerous play.
However, who was it (please someone remember was it Burrow on Fa'asavalu or Eastmond on Peacock?) who made a really mad leaping tackle on a big forward last season? That went down as being a really brave hit as it was a little bloke on a big bloke so we can't really penalise Scruton for picking on someone his own size! | | | |

IMO after seeing it again, massive hit... and thats all it was. Unless the RFL are going to turn it around and say it was unsportsmanship or something along those lines - for me the more hits like this the better to watch, it gets the team fired up and the fans.
But to say "ask jane clinton after he gets back from disney land" is a complete and utter joke, number one - you wouldnt say it to his face, and number two - ive never seen a hit like that and for the bloke to keep hold of the ball and get up and get on with the game.
In my book thats how it should be.

The above is what i put on the Bradford Board, cant see anymore in it myself at all and have seen it afew times now. Ive seen Scotty put hits like that (or try to) and again in my book they are fair hits. Forwards go out there to put big hits in and to put people on there s - our great game wouldnt be the same without it.
