You mean go back to the old style playoffs which was never succesful.
It would make a mockery of it being classed as the biggest trophy then. CC Cup would again be the sought after prize as it would be harder to win than the playoffs.

And they playoffs would not be harder? TOP 8 teams in sl not a easy first and second round tie like CC.
