Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us.
Moorends keep marching on after easing to a 58 – 12 home victory over Barnsley Based Dodworth, this victory elevated the Marauders into third place in the Pennine 1st Division to help them keep pace with the leading pair in the division.
After last weekend’s victory a sterner test awaits this weekend when the Marauders entertain second placed Criddlestone All Blacks who are sitting pretty comfortable after gaining promotion last season.
The All Blacks have been steadily moving up the table since their 14 – 36 loss on the first day of the season against Bank Top Harriers (Bradford) who sit on the top of the table, since that loss the All Blacks have gone on to record five consecutive victories to show their intent on gaining back to back promotions.
Moorends Thorne Marauders Vs Criddlestone All Blacks
Moorends must have played 70% of the game without the ball, constantly turning the ball over cheaply, Has the saying goes, "Who controls the football wins the game".
