Rather quiet on here to say last match probably about guaranteed our survival since Barrow need 4 points to equal overhaul us and Whitehaven need 6. Barrow have to play Wakefield so that's a no go.

By that logic both Barrow and Whitehaven cannot overturn us at the moment meaning regardless of our results or Swinton's, Halifax's, Batleys etc we should be safe as my understanding of the play off game is that it is to confirm 13th place in the Championship for next year (14 teams currently 2 straight down makes 12) I assume the placings affect central funding or IMG points.

I base my understanding of this on the article below that states the league will shrink by one this year and one more next year.
