Only just read this thread and the comments about the salary cap. How many contracted players have we got? I wouldn't have thought we would anywhere near the cap as we haven't had to pay winning pay all year!

Well today was bad, so what to do?.. but I have to say, I am sick of hearing that it's poor recruitment of youth as the reason the team is losing, being as most of them have never had the chance to prove them self on a regular basis, which is a bit unfair on those lads as they are all good players.. If some of the squad had half the desire of those lads and got paid diddly the same as them for training 3 times a week, then they would play a lot harder for that win bonus!.. Dual reg players on good money, walking into the side in any position they want, has fkd us up this season and lost us a few good young prospects, who would have got better each week! And don't say they weren't experienced, cos how do they get experience without playing? Oh and by the way, before playing in an academy is mentioned, they all played at that level too!.. Rant over x
