Anything that doesn't cost money has got to be worth a
go.
/>
I think we tried the free ticket route in the John Wright days and it didn't particularly do all that
well.
/>
I suspect that most people might give something a go for nothing, but are reluctant to fork out cash in the
future.
/>
If we never get them down to watch matches, we can never convert them to be fans of the future, so giving the tickets away to schools has my full
support.
/>
The attendance challenge is certainly the biggest one as far as creating a sustainable club for the future is concerned. If we want to grow and get bigger as a club, we've got to improve the attendances
considerably.
/>
The aim of 2,000 is a good one, although getting to 1,000 seems like a huge mountain for us at the
moment.
/>
I was reading about this One Direction chap allegedly wanting to get involved in the club. If he did, the easiest way to boost attendances would be to get him to come and perform a few songs at half-time at a Rovers and Dons game. That would get the kids down!
