I know that Geoff sometimes has a point about falling attendances but it is not just the dons.Its every other club in the country.The recent final at Wembley is another example.Peoples circumstances change.There are a lot more people who work unsociable hours/shifts nowadays and more importantly there isnt much money about for some folk.
Also the main thing that revs me up is that if you would have said at the start of the season that the lads would finish 6th in the league with forty odd points no one would believe it (see the thread from early season). This on the back of a great season last year. But Geoff still sees reason to moan and groan about it. Cant we have some credit where its due please. The only time you seem to contribute to the forum is to moan about the game , the club or supporters. |

It works out as our best finish in the second tier for several seasons, and to finish 6th, behind what most would agree are the 'established' clubs at this level, is a fantastic thing, especially given that we had a serious struggle at the beginning of the season.
Also, in terms of scoring, we've only scored more points in a season twice since 2002, and both times we won the playoffs, and although, this is the 5th worst defensive effort we've put in since then, we're only at a -15 points difference, which is impressive, to say that we've lost 13 games, and no other team is as close to a neutral difference as us.
