Pretty dire looking for a decent ale house in Lincolnshire at the weekend, barring the Ship Inn at Surfleet where we stayed overnight. Didn't help that i left the GBG at home www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//a054.gif" alt=" icon_biggrin.gifEPRESSED:" title="DEPRESSED" /> Had a decent Cottage brewed beer plus Slaters ' Queen Bee.
/>
Yesterday. I took a trip out to East Butterwick to the Dog and Gun, where I'm pleased to say I finally bumped into the mildly-eccentric Dixie of Dixie's Marine ales fame and had a very nice pint of his Red Duster. I then sampled Great Heck's White Rabbit, which was a little hoppy (pardon the pun ) for my liking, and the much more palatable, Beartown Bearass at the River Don Tavern, Eastoft, where coincidentally, they are putting up a tremendous fight against proposed windfarms in the area, S-O.
