I paid £60 for my season ticket last season at the beginning of January, which makes a 33% increase for next season for playing in a lower league. As I had to miss some matches due to holidays, special occasions I see no point in buying a season ticket for next season based on the proposed increase. Probably £70 would be more acceptable with a reduced match day price of £8

Quote ="Stand-Offish"YOU need to keep off the drink with your late night insults...why you are hardly coherent.
Have you re-read any of your recent posts?
You have nothing to contribute whatsoever apart from insults and when challenged to quantify any of your rantings you don't...or can't.
You're not even a proper Donny supporter....and you come on here lecturing us.
Tune in tomorrow night folks for more of Marshy's p/ssed up ">posts.'"

Quote ="DonnyD"Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit.. You made that post and the other posts that you usually make, like anybody really cares what you say!!..

So, how would you define a 'Proper' Dons supporter??
I would say.. Anybody who comes to support the Dons every week, 'or' those who just go now and again and pays their money is a 'proper' Dons supporter.. But.. You only get what you pay for!!
Tune in tomorra for more of SO's Sarcastic comments

It wasn't sarcasm at all.....he's an Hull supporter who comes to some Donny games....and comes on here and calls people s.
I would classify that as a very low form of contribution.
As for what I say.......on this particular topic unless you come from Mars....you should have detected that most proper dons supporters agree the senior price differential is wrong.
Which is the point of this thread.
And unless you have something proper to contribue apart from trying to fuel arguments....perhaps you ought to not bother.
This is an information and DISCUSSION forum.....I don't expect people to like or agree with everything I say....but at least I contribute and regularly.

I think that enough has now been said on this subject for the time being.
It will be raised with the Club representatives on Thursday and their response will be made available.
However, one thought ... we have so few supporters that we can ill afford to fall out amongst ourselves.

| The Supporters Society (Trust) Committee raised this issue with representatives from the Club yesterday evening.
As Carl Hall was unable to attend the meeting, John Scarrow (Chairman) fielded the question and advised that the Club took a decision that they wished to get Children (and therefore Families) to the games - hence the £1 per game offer to 5 - 16 year olds.
Beyond that they pitched the prices as they believed appropriate to achieve a required level of revenue once the Childrens price had been factored in. They accept that this has not proved popular with a small number of people but acknowledge that they won't please all of the people all of the time.
John pointed out that the Club believe the Season Tickets (for all supporters) to be an extremely good deal and understood that they are priced as attractively as anyone else in our division.
The prices for match day and season tickets will remain as advertised.
Gary Fox
(Chairman - Doncaster Rugby League Supporters Society).
