A meeting has been set up so that Carl Hall can address supporters of the Dons about the current situation at the Club.

The venue for the meeting will be The Drum (public house), Watch House Lane, Bentley on Tuesday 19 May 2009 and will start at 8.00pm prompt.

All supporters are welcome.

I realise that the venue will not be ideal for all but this needed setting up quickly and I urge all supporters to make the effort to attend if at all possible.

Please also spread the word to fellow supporters who perhaps don't view this messageboard.

I think this meeting has now become pointless.

Who is next to leave?
Our hopes for the rest of the season?
What we are going to be doing next season?
When are we hoping to put in a Superleague bid?
We are fed up of hearing it.

To those that are going I salute you.

I would hope it's to explain how / why we are in this situation and to advise what if anything can be done.

Best way to find out ... turn up, listen and then ask any unanswered questions.

We know why we are in this mess.....nothing can be done by supporters that will have the slightest effect apart from emptying their bank accounts into the Dons'....and that won't happen.
So after you have gone please let me know of any revelations.
I won't be there....I've done it...seen the film and bought the T-shirt.
And I suppose this is where it descends into folk slagging others off....I hope not

Had a call from Carl Hall this evening.

Reference the meeting next Tuesday (19th May) it is Carl's intention to put the supporters in the picture about the recent / current issues at the Dons.

Carl made it very clear that he felt that the supporters were entitled to an explanation and would do his utmost to answer any questions.

I have to admit that I have received some messages asking questions about what will be said and the answer is I don't honestly know.

All I can suggest that if people want the opportunity to ask questions please attend the meeting and lets all find out what's going on and where we stand.

What worries me is the statement on the official site from Handforth stating hes asked for the move due to the financial uncertainty at the club?

Can somebody from the club please come on here and let us know whats going on?

I think that's really what next Tuesday is about.

I think we need to be told something before next tuesday Gary.After todays developments it seems to be more serious than we think.

Also on other forums some people knew of this yesterday and are speculating on our future.Do they know something we dont?
