| I heard that Adam Blair was approached, but turned us down.
I seem to recall at an awards evening last year, Terry O'Connor stated that he didn't want to sign hasbeen Aussies or people that are coming for their payday. I guess only time will tell if he is sticking to that. Obviously there will have been some negotiations down under. It wouldn't surprise me if people were already tapped up.
I've heard a few names spouted about from the NRL and Super League.
The likes of:

It just won't happen mate, he's a top class player playing for a top class club.
It would be great for the game if you did sign these big names as I think super league will be a better comp with a good Widnes side in it. I've been disgusted how the likes of Widnes and Halifax etc have been left in the cold while the Quins, crusaders and Catalan are fast tracked and looked after by the RFL.
