He'll be adequate if he plays on the wing. He is NOT a centre or fullback as he can't catch the ball if anyone is within 3m of him and his tackling technique involves him racing out of the line and missing his target to leave a gaping hole behind him.



Having said that on the wing he's alright, despite not being that quick. He's solid enough, and is good attacking a high ball and has scored a few for us from this tactic. His goalkicking is ok too 81% success rate this season.



He does wander around looking like he can't be ar5ed a lot. Might be an unfortunate manner but recently it would suggest that he's given up for us.

Maybe he's just looking forward to getting over to Widnes? Perhaps someone told him to check out all those vids on youtube and he thinks he's going to be playing with Offiah, Tait, Sorensen etc

Yeah, just like when he went over to Bradford he was looking forward to playing in a side worth watching. He's been duped since the moment he got here.



Come on, Bradford are one of the biggest jokes in rugby league.

He will go good for us, my lad is exited about it as he has watched him kicking goals for bradford.Fresh start and all that the whole bradford team is playing poop at the moment hard to blame 1 or 2 player.

He will be coming in to go on the wing. The fact he can play elsewhere in the back line (albeit potentially poorly) is a bonus I suppose.



Just watching a couple of the SL highlights of your games on youtube and he looks very much like Tangi Ropati has in defence for us. Shoots out of the line at times and tries to bump the attacker off, only to be spun or miss completely.



Competent goalkicker and younger than I thought with some decent NRL experience behind him. Ultimately the big negative seems to be defence.



I will see how he goes for us but in the meantime he is another signing on the way to a full squad.

Could come and bite us on the backside. At the beginning of the year most said he deserved a new contract, he had a bad spell when he was played out of position.



Positives - Big Strong, makes good metres forward from dummy half. His biggest strength is attacking a high ball. Unfortunately we didn't click onto this and very rarely used it.



Negatives - Not the best defence, not the fastest.



Keep him on the wing, and he could do well for you.

I thought he showed promise earlier in the season, but lately he's been a liability. Whether or not thats because he knows he's going is anyones guess.



What I will say is, he is undoubtedly a winger, not a centre. He is a decent goalkicker and will make you good metres scooting from dummy half. His handling and defence definitely need work though.

Odsal is a joke for a start

He is younger than i thought at 23 so i am sure he can work on his defence.If started well he must have some ability and the Widnes squad is young and building for the future.

Now we need Witt,Vince Mellars, and a good hooker to rotate with Coyle.One more decent prop, and looseforward and i will be satisfied.

Well you can not just blame him for Bradfords downfall as the others do not look that good.Maybe a 2yr contract and his face fitting at Widnes will help him.

I don't blame him. He seems a nice guy too, so I do wish him well.



There is definitely some ability in there, but I'm just not sure if he offers enough value for a quota spot.

To be honest nobody really knows what the final squad or players to be signed.Well recently just signed 3 of our best youngsters in Gilmore,Owens, and Craven.The good thing for Widnes is we can now send players on dual registration to the Championship.I am sure we will get a few loan players aswell.Hope you enjoy your visit next year when the Bulls play Widnes.Be nice to get a few away fans,as only Leigh and Fax bring support to the Stobarts.

I'd of tried to sign Shad Royston if i was on your board, Bradford only play him 1 out of 3 weeks and every time he plays he scores. out of contract at the end of this season as well i think

Poor signing for Widnes. Theres better wingers in the Championship in my opinion who would cost less. Maybe worth asking about Shad Royston as he doesnt seem to get too much game time with the Bulls although he scores still tries for fun and gives 100%

The thing with Royston seems to be that Bradford don't want to let him go and he doesn't seem to want to leave.

All the reports seem to suggest that he was a decent enough player early on in the season and his form has suffered along with the team.



With these things it's hard to know how he will go we can only wait and see.

If put on the wing i think he will be a good signing.Strong and quite quick, and 11 tries in 24 games is not too bad.He has also a 80% kicking rate.Still young at 23 and with a decent centre i will be happy.The lad was good at the start of the season, and with the whole Bradford team poor he is used as a scapecoat.

I would not mind Shad Royston but he may be happy at Bradford.

He has scored 8 tries. His kicking is average not the worst but far from the best. Not quick and very lazy. However he does drive in the ball decently and is good under an attacking high ball.

Maybe lazy as not happy at the Bulls as the whole team is poor.Still good 8 tries in a crap team.
