We were offered a ground share at a ground in West Hull, which in my opinion would ultimately have led to an attempted merger, we've fought that in the past and don't want to go down that road again. When I think how hard we have fought to be in the position we are in now, I am grateful that we even have a ground! Our ground is far from perfect, but it's our home and I would not swap it for your shiney stadium. Once the new North Stand is up and eventually the South end is developed we will have a nice little stadium, I then look forward to welcoming away supporters in their thousands ..... or at least listening to a different excuse icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="icon_rolleyes.gif" title="Rolling Eyes" /> |

Absolute garbage, check archives. There were 3 sites mooted at the time with the favoured one (if Rovers had come on board) being Sutton road area. As I said earlier you backed out because Paul Caddick had promised to invest in your club and upgrade your ground, he backed out (went to Leeds) and left you high and dry. The amount of Dobbins that believe otherwise is astonishing, but typical. |
