ASDA's selection isn't half bad too, can't beat a bottle of London pride!



Speaking of real ale, it's the Warrington Oktoberfest starting tomorrow, time for some Wobbly Bob!

If you go to Asdas midweek theres 3 different ales at a pound a pop. Gentleman Jack, Whitechapel Porter and Golden Ale. Long weekend for me though so a new batch of homebrews going on!

There's a Weatherspoons. I haven't been in it, but like any other Weatherspoons there's bound to be a few decent ones amongst the tasteless, frozen gnats water such as Fosters, Carlsberg and Stella. Widnes RUFC usually has a couple of well kept real ales on the go, but it's not too handy for the Halton stadium.

Wobby Bob is a fine drop of beer!

Weatherspoons is across from Bargain Booze isn't it? I'd rather drink Carling than give any money to a RU club mate!
