realistcally 2nd place is about as high we can finish. i think that we will beat fax at home but the sheer weight of games in hand they have will just about secure top spot.

Well, if that's where the quality is, who can argue? I suppose we can give a leg up to "the fairer sex" to even things out. They put more women in Parliament as a face saving excerise so i suppose the RFL can put a few runts from this side of the Pennines in. It'll dilute the quality but at least the RL map will look less one sided.

So, you're not too disappointed that in a hot bed area of rugby league Halifax still don't get in?

Watch this space.. I believe Salford's ground problems may be about to be resolved and Celtic's move to Newport will satisfy the RFL there. The SL wagons are circling..
