Honestly can't see 6 players in that lot who will suddenly see us challenging the top 4

Well I certainly thought he had since I heard it from a very reliable source, but then the rumours started to build up that we hadn't reached agreement on the fee, which gained a bit of credence because of the absence of an announcement.

Naturally delighted if he has signed as he will certainly add some extra quality as well as being a top class goal kicker.

It could all be tied up in the annual palaver of not naming names until September, without the permission of the host club etc etc, more likely because you cant name your names yet!

Thing is, if we want to get successful quickly then we need to be out paying fees for good players. We can't just be reliant on OOC players.
