The lack of communication from the club is something they can fix very simply and easily but for some reason it remains disconnected with its biggest asset which is the fans base.

Whether he was the right coach he is the 2nd to get thrown under the bus. Not right the same players are getting a wage after this. But it's done. I just hope whoever gets the job sorts the rot out in our club.

Who are these players fans keep mentioning, are they the ones that Hodgson kept selecting?

I would like to have seen James Clark removed as well

Without watching training every day and seeing how they are acting to hard to say. But players still there since 2017: Houghton, Taylor, Griffin, Carlos, Shaul, Connor. A few others like Lane, Brown and Fash were around but not 1st team back then. Quite a few listed there haven't had great seasons.

As a friend of Peter Gentle through his time at the club I have a very strong feeling of De Je Vue here whatever happens and by whom in the future we don't want a Gareth Ellis type appointment (Great bloke though he is) we need someone who will come in and break this culture because its been around for years.

Need somebody who will come in, crack some heads and shove a rocket up a few backsides. Too many of the players have been coasting along and the culture has been rotten for years.

A shame it didn't work out for Brett Hodgson but that's sport.

Sad it has come to this yet again but the club were left with little option with the poor performances from mid season culminating the one of if not the worst performances in SL.

I can’t have too much sympathy for Brett if I’m honest regardless of any possible player power as he just didn’t stamp his authority on the squad or seem to lay down the law.

I’m pleased that Purtill has also gone as he has just had little value whilst at the club. Also Hatton has gone as a sign that fitness has been an issue which was clear. However you wonder just how much training was being done every day as the number of times during a week I’ve driven past the training ground while out and about for work and not seen anyone out of the field morning or afternoon.

Unless Adam can move the lines of Taylor, Griffin etc on then I would hope that Wane is the one to come in. He may not be well liked but he doesn’t stand on ceremony with players and won’t take or accept the 5h1t efforts put in by the players.

To be fair to Pearson he seems to have Hodgson and Purtill every chance to turn things around by providing extra money for loan players and until the end of the season but the total humiliation of Saturday will have been far too much for anyone to stomach.
