I am sure we are ALREADY in contact with some players on that list in readiness for future signings and in fact have been speaking to Minnicello (think thats how its spelt) for some time now .

As FC always do they will bring in marque players when needed and fill gaps as and when players become available in the clubs ongoing recruitment process.

Hohaia reminds me of Motu tony, he's a good utility player, his best position is FB, very average in the halfs.



I don't think he would have been the right signing for Hull for next season, our priority has to be a SH with a good kicking game.

I'd also be tempted to keep Fitz for another year if he feels he is fit enough.



I would doubt we could sign a better replacement than him.



Use lauaki's quota spot for a HB.



Keep Phelps or use his spot for another FB or centre, depends whose available.



I would target Murphy and Johnson from Wakey.

Minichiellos been a great player but he'll be 32 next season.



This marque player lark is balls, we just sign players with the longest rep apps then fill in with what's left.

Way too long. He is a good player with lots of experience and can cover 1,6,7 & 9. His best position is fullback but with Wellens there I would imagine he will play in the halves with either Lomax or the other young lad. He has a reasonable kicking game but I would say he is a better fullback/hooker.

Unless Wellens is moving position?

lance hohaia has already said that hes looking forward to been starting halfaback next season as thats the posistion he prefers. pryce seems as though hes going back to the bulls and that leaves 1 of gaskell and lomax to play 7 wellens will stay at fullback and then lomax will replace him

Main issue for me is that no one at our club has a profile in Oz. the only reason an overseas player will sign for us is that we outbid everyone else (probably significantly outbid them)
