That is correct. However that has nothing to do with this discussion.
I do make allowances for you however as this weekend has not been good for you. I’m sure you personally really hated our result on Thursday, otherwise you would not have felt the need to get in an off topic dig. For that to be followed up with a woeful display on Friday must have compounded your misery.

| Hadley and litten wouldn't have improved anything last night, we lost because we were down on energy and were out enthused. I'd take Johnstone over litten every day of the week, Hadley is solid but we've got enough 'solid' players.

How did Hadley come into the discussion? Litten would not have been out enthused. He made more breaks on Thursday than the entire FC team on Friday. Of course he might have been affected by the general malaise that seems to exist if he was still playing over the river.
I prefer the opinions of commentators and reporters. KR are a team of young hungry men who since the restart played an adventurous, entertaining game against Wire, developed and improved against Saints and improved even further and played well for 80 minutes against Wigan. FC at the moment are seen as an outfit that has plenty of star material that do not play as a team and individually are not at the top of their game. That opinion was emphasised last night.

I meant abdull not Hadley, it doesn't matter how you play, you're still bottom of the league, I'd rather win 10-0 every week than lose playing 'adventurous' rugby, all I want to see from fc is commitment, willingness to work for each other and doing the basics right, something I think a new coach can achieve, we've got a squad good enough to beat anyone we just need someone with fresh ideas who can get us playing as a team.
For once I think Phil Clarke was right last night saying lots of players at Hull are just satisfied with their place in the squad and not enough are hungry enough to improve and take the team forward, we are also desperate for some kind of leadership on field.

Well I've had a great weekend, thanks, Keith. Rugby league notwithstanding, obviously.
I wouldn't say that I 'hated' your result. Obviously I want Rovers to lose every game unless it benefits us and I'm sure the opposite applies to you. However results like Thursday happen now and again and fair play it was a great performance and result. My post wasn't off topic though - my point is that Litten and Abdul wouldn't necessarily have improved us last night. They both had chances at Hull and only occasionally showed any real promise. Lets not kid ourselves that it was Cooke and Hodgson.

FC obviously did not appreciate what they had with Hodgdon.
Yes they did have chances at FC but seem to be showing what they can do with a decent coach. Ward at Broncos and Smith at Rovers. Abdull had an excellent season in London. Unfortunately injury has limited his chances with us. Time will tell if it was a one off on Thursday but the three matches we’ve played since lockdown give cause for optimism each one better than previous one. Not an improvement that FC have shown so far.

Hodgson from an FC perspective was just one of those things. I'm sure every club has examples of players being released who go on to much better things. At time we had Shaun Berrigan a recent Australian international and State of Origin regular plus Danny Houghton coming through a year or so ahead of Hodgson. We signed Heremaia a couple of seasons later who was happy to be an interchange hooker, Hodgson may not have been so keen had he stayed.
As you say, time will tell re: Abdul and Litten but I say honestly I don't see them as anything other than steady Eddies who (no offence) may stand out in weaker sides.

I agree
I think the other problem in our club for Albo is Connor
Radford gave in to Connor.gave him Albos no 6 shirt then expect Albo to be happy.
Another big mistake from Radford on par with getting rid of Watts

| You’re right. The decision to get rid of Watts looks worse and worse as time goes on. Giving Connor the 6 jersey was also wrong looking back. Kelly had done nothing wrong (far from it). Kudos to Kelly for not sulking about it.

You don't really think players are bothered about squad numbers, do you?
I mean Sika Manu always took the number 21 shirt even though he was first choice bit that's different. Kelly getting the 14 shirt didn't mean he was no longer first choice stand off.

| It amazes me that people still bring up the Watts saga on a regular basis.
We'll soon be getting told that Watts and his dad were begging the club to keep him, and that he would play for free.

Why not just keep it as it was then?. It must have mattered to someone for the change to be made.

Think it’s a valid bone of contention. The coach got rid to satisfy his ego to the detriment of the team. Ask AP if he would do the same today.

There’s a world of difference between a player choosing a number outside the first 13 and having such a number and then having it taken away by the club and given to someone else.

| As I say, I doubt very much the players are that bothered about squad numbers. Maybe Connor requested the six shirt and Kelly was happy to take number fourteen.
Kelly got number 14 but has started six games and not come off the bench yet. Satae is numer 10 but six out of his seven appearances this season have come as an interchange forward.
Why does everything have to be a conspicacy theory after a loss?
