Why is it restricted to 23k yet when hull city was in prem they sold every seat (nearly)

Parts of our stands are unreserved. By law you have to have a certain amount of seats free due to that.



That's not the case for Hull City. Hence our capacity been capped at 23,000.

Seems odd though that the fixture managed to attract over 20,000 people in July when to be honest you would also expect a fair few people to be on holiday. I wonder if all the hype of a sellout hasnt helped - I spoke to a mate whos a casual fan who said he presumed he wouldnt get a ticket so hadnt bothered
