the club should be doing everything possible to get an massive gate for this one, lots of marketing, ticket offers maybe give away a few aswell. should be looking at 17-18k for this

Why would we get 18k? Leeds won't bring many as they'll have spent a load on Wembley, it's on tv and IIRC, derbies apart, our record attendance is 17kish v Bradford but that was a GF eliminator. 15k is doable but a stretch IMO.

They are given away 2 free tickets for the best 2005 Challenge Cup story.

If the weather is good, we have a good squad out and it's not on Sky - we'll set a new record imo.

There'll be about 15,000 there at best. Remember it's all pay.



The play off attendances last year were very modest e.g. 11,000 Leeds v Rovers, 6,000 Saints v Huddersfield, 8,600 Wigan v Cas.

If Hull make a big thing about using all those unused tickets from your season passes, that could boost the gate. I don't have any spare myself but know a few people who have missed the odd home game this season.



According the the SL website the Sky fixtures are going to be announced tomorrow.

Cant wait for this game, it will certainly have all the makings of a play-off game. With the right marketing, I think a realistic attendance would be around 15-16k. Having Long and Horne back will obviously be a massive boost, but this will still be an extremely tough game. Hopefully the CC final with take abit of gas out Leeds' tank, but I dont think itll have a great impact tbh and I expect Leeds to be as dangerous as ever.

Now that Rovers have lost to Wigan it seems that we need to beat Leeds to play Wigan away in play offs or lose to play Rovers at home in the play offs. Interesting

I agree, time for the marketing department to get creative and draw a big crowd in. To have 16k+ home fans going mad will be a massive lift to the team.



as a pass-holder I woulden't complain if they made tickets say £10 to get the walk up crowds in the ground.

Given Hudds should win their remaining game, a point would put us on level points as them but with them having a much better points difference, meaning we would still finish 6th and play Rovers.

As I said earlier in this thread, there will be a few season pass holders who have missed some games, who will have some unused vouchers that they could exchange for tickets for this match, if the majority of these people give these vouchers to people, then that alone could boost the attendance.

If they win....bit its in our hands.
