I dont see the players every day at training so cant really answer that TBF.

how and why do you accomodate a player and drop a player that has obviously been in form for most of the season forgive me if i'm wrong i'm just going to accomodate myself with someone that gives a fxxk

Tansey comes in and does a good job at full-back and in no time atall we go to plan B. Our best and definitely most committed player gets dropped in favour of an 18 yr old who has had a long road back from injury. I've no faith in Agar, he can spot a good player but his thinking is so muddled.

Dropping Calderwood - our best player this season - to bring in an 18 year old who hasn't played in four months was a terrible decision.



I'm looking forward to hearing Agar's comments on this.

I'm baffled as to why some fans think bringing Brscoe back in favour of Calderwood was a tough call. It's no such thing. Young Tom shouldn't be anywhere near the team. I like Briscoe, we all like Briscoe but dropping our best player....what can you say?!?!?!

It should have been a staright call for the idiot Agar between Biscoe / Yeaman for the one centre spot other than that the the backs picked themselves.

Calderwood should have been on the bench as a minimum although it should have been Briscoe in my view. Briscoe could have moved to centre or there were other options. Agar's selection policy in this game is reason enough for him to be replaced. That said the players are unable to discharge their responsibilities such as carrying and catching the ball on a weekly basis and the sooner that this squad is replaced almost in its entirety the better.

Doesnt matter who plays if your completion rate is less then 50% then you will lose....again.

As much as I like Briscoe as a player, Calders should not have been dropped to make way for him. What message does it send.



It seems to me that RA doesn't rate Calders. I've heard the rumours about him being offered to other clubs. i also heard Agars interview with DDD after ths Huds game. When replying to DDD's comments that both wingers played well he remarked along the lines that he thought Calders had come up with a number of poor plays.

I was told some weeks ago that Calderwood had been told to look for another club next season. It may be rubbish and it may be true but it wouldn't surprise me either way.

If true its an absolute joke !

it was so big but didnt include calderwood. briscoes twice the player calderwood was/is/ever will be.

No he said Briscoe is, IMO he isn't there yet plus it was his first game back after a lengthy lay off. To play both him AND Yeaman and drop a fit Calderwood is sheer stupidity.

I know what you are saying but our wingers dont get the ball. We dont normally make the 4th tackle without a dropped ball so all pretty irrelevant really.

So you would drop the one player that's been any good this year, for a youngster who is unfit coming back from injury.

Like I say its pretty irrelavent. I personally would rather see Tom Briscoe play for Hull then not and that obviously means one of Calderwood, Hall, Yeaman or Raynor dont play.



Had it been for Hall the same arguments would be happening. The crux of the problem is elsewhere IMO.

This is the same coach that threw away any chance of winning the CC last year by not picking Adam Dykes because he wouldn't take 2 gambles in one match and yet he does just that for a nothing game in France that we had a chance of winning.

Dont think it was a nothing game tonight at all!



I am not backing Agar in the slightest but listening to Hull tonight I cant remember us completing a set of 6. Who played on the right wing is missing the point at the mo for me.
