I've got it on a DVD and watch it all the time along with the Hull v Australia game from 1982. Absolute classic. Feel very lucky to have been there. I still expect us to win and yes, another 5 minutes and I have no doubt we would have won.

Seriously IMO nothing can top that 2006 game - David (well, in that we were NL1 at the time) vs Goliath, unbelievable back-and-forth game, white-hot atmosphere, 76 points scored in total, as a dramatic cup upset I can't see it ever been beaten.

He then returned to his contracted club in Australia.



He was actually back in Wigan one week before the final and stayed at Billy Bostons pub(the Griffin)

They aren't showing the 2005 final, just the ones they have shown numerous times over the last couple of years - 1985, 1994, 1996, 2003.
