Willie Mason, although now in the twilight of his playing career would be a big hit in SL.
I've seen the way he used to feed off Oges and back him up and vice versa.
Mason and O'Meley at the Doggies were awesome.
They would be great paired up together in England too. |

| Personally...I didnt much like Mason's comments about "Wanting to walk into a side that is already competing for a top 8 place". It sorta made him sound a bit 'lazy' IMO.......If he was FC bound, i';d want him to say "I'm gonna come to your club and shake it to the foundations cos I' hungry for winning tropheys".
Danny Tickle everytime over Mason......And deffo Lauaki over him.....I like us having a 'loose cannon' in the team. It adds to the excitment. The Willie Mason of 2010 is...well.....slower and probably a lot more expensive than he's worth. Rovers have a habit of spending loads of money on misfits! |

Dunno what this sharks fan is on about I wouldn't swap Mason for Tickle either. Why take a quality 2nd rower, established in the team, one of the best goal kickers in the league, top tackler... for someone who used to be good 4-5 years ago, could have the occasional good game now, but extremely volatile and will (i bet) last just 1 season in England.
No thanks mate we have plenty of good 2nd rowers.
Not a question of how many caps each HAS won.... who looks most likely to get a cap in the future?
Sorry Mason's agent, take him to to Rovers.

As has been said, rarely kicks in open play but he did a few weeks ago, when we beat Saints with a Danny Tickle drop goal!
