I think some on here underrate Horne. Only my opinion of course. And, even it they are right, you can't have everyone you want in a team - that is what the cap is all about. And, if you look at our squad it is now one of the best in the league (again only in my opinion). When Gleeson and Phelps are up to full fitness - and even with Long suffering more misfortune - we have a well balanced squad that Horne compliments very well (especially for his price). Horne has also had a pretty good defensive record so far this season which is also an important aspect of a player's game.



I wonder who we'd have to let go to bring Chase in? I would rather have the balance of squad that we have than have everything revolve around one man. The qualities of the respective squads will either support my argument or dash it agains the rocks by the end of the season, as will the players respective stats.

If chase is too expensive I'd make a bid for luke gale. Would be a better option than sammutt IMO

Be a great partnership tbh, Gale at 7 and Chase at 6.

You've always had to prove you were "qualified" as far as I know.

As much as i'd love Chase, i'd like to see us move for Scott Dureau he looks a hell of a player. Scoring points for fun with the Dragons, I'm surprised we didnt gamble on him in the off season really. He kicks drop goals too which is something we definitely need IMO.

Not this season, he's behind Orford, Mccrone, Williams and Campese.

Which is why he, rightly, wouldn't be given a visa, he can't do something that someone already in the country can't.

can standee cant do something that someone can.
