Perhaps we are teaching poor technique, which is leading to players getting themselves into dangerous situations.

That, as well as the management of players. Picking players that are not fully fit is asking for injuries. Are we playing players that should be resting more often than not, leading to longer term injuries down the line?

Maybe we just sign injury prone players?!



I do agree with one of the other posters though that this can't be just bad luck. It's happened too often over the course of the last few years.

Good point, yes he did. People are talking about the conditioner like he's a mechanic working on a car. Unfortunately for him he's not, he's working with human beings whose attitude and behaviour is inevitably going to be one of the biggest determinants of their "condition".

Hull are not fit enough showed against huddersfield, look at carvell hardly missed a game at Wire , I think they dont train properly and yes i have being to watch them train . I believe alot of the players are not professional enough . Too many people do not believe how much that makes a difference as their lifestyle can affect them

The firmness of the KC playing surface seems a much more plausible answer to the problem than the 3 conditioners we've had since we moved there. There comes a point where bad luck becomes something which is actually real and I reckon we're past that stage

And left shortly after the Jason Smith fiasco. His decision IIRC to wait until the start of a new season before deciding exploratory surgery on his shoulder was required instead of doing it in the off season.

Just out of interest, do Hull FC have a club doctor? We've had the same doctor at Rovers for about 5 years now (he's a good friend of my uncle) and he's in the dug out at every game. I also know a lot of the players go to the chiropractor on Holderness Road. Do Hull FC have anything similar?



It does seem odd that Hull have had consistent injury problems over the last few seasons. Either someone's smashed a mirror and there's going to be 7 years of bad luck or players aren't getting the treatment they need.

I think you will find you can't operate without one, pardon the pun, he has been with the club for a number of years.

That's an interesting suggestion. I know when we played some games at Boothferry Park it was mentioned that the playing surface was much softer than at the Boulevard but I don't know if that's the case at the KC.



Also, I wonder how many of the injuries have been sustained away from home.
