Don't think Chamberlain is a big deal, he will hardly be a large salary and is non quota. Had we done better (and I know the reason why we didnt) and got Lam and Whitehead for example he would be a back up player.

Re Chamberlain, I don’t get the negativity towards him. Yes we need quality players to move us back in to a team that will challenge at the top but and it’s a big BUT we had to stabilise things first. Chamberlain is here and will do the job that is required of him. This off season we will have been one of the last clubs players wanted to move to due the issues which as has turned out since the takeover things were far worse than most of us thought. We desperately needed to turn over a large proportion of the squad to try and kick start a totally different attitude, to do that you still need players to replace the ones that left. The player pool is was already quite small and with the late stage we joined the party in terms of recruitment most players of real quality had already sorted their deals. I’ve no doubt things will keep changing and should a player come up that meets what Cartwright wants in a player we’ll be in for them moving forward. It’s just going to take a little bit of time but we can already see that the club under the new ownership means business and wants to deliver success.

| Chamberlain was signed for his versatility Myler said I think ,And the way our players are dropping atm , that will come into play in the next coming weeks . versatility? does he sing and play the guitar and dance like michael jackson because having someone with his limited R/L ability on a three year contract is a joke

Huddersfield 8/11 Us 29/20 Wish I could back us with confidence instead of hope, but hey, it's been like that for what seems an age now.Train booked and a session in Huddersfield so will enjoy anyways.Always more enjoyable if we can bag a couple of points to take homeward bound.

Dave K.: Don't think Chamberlain is a big deal, he will hardly be a large salary and is non quota. Had we done better (and I know the reason why we didnt) and got Lam and Whitehead for example he would be a back up player. 3 year deal is excessive for a back up quality player. Holmes should have been 1 year deal to prove his fitness. I understand Myler had to get players in but still.
