I think the coach is THE most important person in a Club.



Look at Fergie , Mourhinho Tony Smith at Wire ( 3 CCs in 4 years and we have won 3 in 100 years ) , McGuire at Wigan and now look at him at Rabbitohs. Bellamy is amazing at Storm.



I want a world beater at FC to take us to World Club Challenge . I want Gentle to be that coach .



He took a big step tonight. Didn't we keep Wire to 6points in the 2nd half ? I watched the game just can't remember as too excited at 6am this morning in Melbourne.



Can we PLEASE smash Rovers at Magic , please ?

After the Good Friday beating by Rovers I think emotions got the better of most, I didn't really demand for his sacking more questioned if he was the man for the job given the upcoming run of tough fixtures. Needless to say he is answering them questions, hindsight is a good thing and all that.

I agree to a certain extent. We must not get carried away this is the first big scalp of the season having already lost to Leeds, Huddersfield and Wigan (albeit giving them a good go). A home victory against an injury ravaged Catalan and a point at Saints are proving to be nothing special either.



However we are looking a far better unit and confidence should now be high. A massive month coming up with Rovers, Leeds, Catalan (away is always difficult) and the cup game. Will be in a better position to judge after that.......

On Gentle I agree that he got the derby wrong and I was worried that he was on his way, leaving us to find a new coach early in the season, but I think he's now showing what he can do. Next few games are important though and we mustn't lose momentum

I think a lot of us said wait till 6-8 games in before we can decide how the team are and after 6-8 games we were gash hence me and others questioning whether Gentle was the right man. Ove the last 6 games or so we have gradually improved and with Holdsworth and Eliis coming back in have lifted another level. The top sides keep the momemtum going and thats what we need to do with a victory against Rovers then one against a below strength Leeds but as for now im pleased that im eating humble pie

Great win and performance last night. It must be backed up on Saturday though.

We owe them big time.

I think FC have turned a corner and its the first time since Cooke left that we look like a team that can challenge. Hopefully miller will be a Danny burrow and we stay clear of injuries to our senior players......I really think this could be a Season to remember but I think after last nights performance that has to be followed up by silencing the dobbins next week with a 30 point victory....COYH

This is what I am eluding to ...........I was a critic ( in RL supporters terms ) and I really really did think Gentle was Cullen



Gentle has silenced me and many others ! I am not giving him stick , no siree. Let's hope this continues like many many other FC fans do.

What I saw last season and up to May was just average - good- ok -sh*t- not bad- great- ok blah blah fu*king blah

Can't see how any FC fan can seriously slag off Gentle or Pearson.The criticism was embarrasing after the Widnes and Rovers defeats.As someone rightly said 'Rome wasn't built in a day'. You have to be patient.For me all along I was looking at 2015 for a comfortable top 4 FC team.The foundations are in place now,great youngsters coming along and all we need now is the home crowds to improve. # Bel13ve. Its also no coincidence that our upturn in form comes as we part company with Andy Hay - wonder if there were issues on that front.

Why was it? Maybe some went over the top, but at that stage there was justified reason to question/criticise.

Because I thought SOME of it was unwarrented and over the top questioning if Peter Gentle even knew what he was doing. Two games that were massive banana skins the plastic Widnes pitch and the derby which I admit and I think everyone inside the club will admit was a pretty woeful display. But no one has a god given right to win. I'm happy with what's in place at the club at the moment.Hopefully the progress will continue but there will be disappointments along the way like the 2 games mentioned.

Genuine question. Why are Leeds below strength?

True. Plus that performance on Sky last night will have done plenty for Pearson's crowd-attracting ambitions.
