Really? You'd rather play Horne at 6 than Chase? Chase plays more of a running 6 (ala Horne) while Orr plays the role similar to Long (organising etc..)

Isnt Chase just an average NRL half back in the same league as Dobson and Dureau with the fact that Super League is so poor in comparison to the NRL that they all now look like world beaters?

Sounds about right there, we need to can the idea of paying stupid money for the Chases and Sammuts and go and find our own like Cas and Crusaders did and stop casting envious glances at their successful recruitment.

Chase has a hell of a lot more in his locker than Sammut in my opinion. Sammut to me is just an off-the-cuff player who can come up with an exciting play every now and again as well as a decent kicking game but that's about it. Chase can also be off-the-cuff if he needs to be but can also control and dominate a game. Attributes wise, I'd have Chase dominating Sammut in pretty much all areas and I also think he's a more intelligent player too.

I would welcome Chase if he came to Hull.

chase is a brilliant player and cas to me alot of times seem a 1 man team ok he may where the 6 shirt but when you watch the way he plays he controls games, great kicking game but fantastic at taking the line on id be very happy at chase and horne at halfback with the likes of williams,nicklas and turner backing up. 100k at end of season?

i would also imagine a lot depends on how Castleford go this year, he had big money waved at him pre season and declined so he could just do that again !!

Maybe for once, against the big bidders we can win the chase (no pun intended) for his signature instead of always thinking our signings are a massive coup when we have out bid the likes of Wakefiled, Salford etc., (no disrespect to these two clubs intended) for a player's signature. Would be more than happy to see him at the KC, offers just what we need at standoff.
