I think thats exactly what we need as our whole percentage rugby is boring to watch, easy to defend against but could be excused if it was leading to 'ugly wins' but it isnt.

whiting isn't a stand off, IMO.



I've always rated myler, half backs don't reach their peak till mid to late 20's.

Hardly a find, everyone knows about him. Has potential and is a good signing for Crusaders but we never had a spot anyway.

I'm still not convinced by him TBH. Monaghan and Briers do most of the creating. Myler just seems to be on the end of the final pass quite a lot.

Corrrect, Myler creates very little he is merely a support player.

It has been known for a long time though that Summat was going to become available, would have rather gone for a player like him rather then Long or Fitz in my opinion, due to the quality of halbacks in the NRL there are often a lot of good players who are not playing regular first grade and with the pressure of the salary cap over there will often be granted a release to SL even if contracted, these are the players we should be targetting rather then going for big name marquee players past there best as a short term option.
