Trust me I go to plenty of Quins games and my missus works for HT, best bet is to travel back Monday and have a good night in London or to buy beer in London and reserve a seat in coach C or B (A if you dont mind being very quiet).

Watch out for the £5 deals that East Coast do every now and again, usally advertised through TravelZoo. Me and the Mrs did Hull > London return for £15 each in Summer last year - £5 out, £10 return.



On the other hand, got the train from London to Manchester last week, £139.50, one way! Robbing ****! Glad I wasn't paying.

Can any of you seasoned train travellers give me a bit of advice on the easiest/cheapest way to get to the Stoop by train on the sunday, We usually go via coach but are having a four day stay in London this year and so will use the train. Not sure which zone it is in and don't know if it is cheaper to get an oyster card for our duration or to just pay seperatly for the sunday. We are staying in Camden by the way. cheers.

The Stoop is a ball-ache to get too.



Think it's Northern Line tube from Camden to Embankment.

Then it's District Line from Embankment to Richmond.



You can walk from Richmond if it's a decent day otherwise jump on a bus (33).



You wanna get yourself an Oyster Card and use it for all your journeys I'd of thought.

There's a real nice one on the river if you aren't in a rush on the way back, although you probably won't be celebrating, as we don't usually do much good down there of late.
