| Quote Mike1970="Mike1970"That’s a shocker about Bowden. No wonder he’s looked like he was lacking in confidence at times.'"
That was a really bad injury and capped a horrendous night for Hull with injuries and suspensions. Also the night that Jamie Shaul almost got killed from a late challenge that went unpunished.
Hopefully Josh’s confidence is coming back. Last season he looked a shadow of the player he used to be. He used to be a key member of the pack. Hopefully he can have an injury free and good run, for the rest of the season.

| Thought a crowd of 10,600 was a decent one, especially baring in mind we have only sold around 6.5k passes for the season. Does seem like the Saturday/Sunday kick offs are proving popular for those turning up on the day.
One thing I have to admit though, is the atmosphere (apart from a phase in the second half) was poor. personally, ive always found the excuse of 'the MKM is a soulless bowl' a bit of a weak argument. when the place is rocking it is the loudest in the league, its getting it rocking for games other than just the derby. Closing the North East corner was the start of the decline in terms of atmosphere. Hopefully the results at home keep coming and we see the atmosphere improve!

To be honest I think it’s always been a struggle to get an atmosphere when Huddersfield come due to lack of away support and in the past they’ve always tended to play with tactics to spoil as opposed to play so games have been pretty dour because of it.

| Quote Riderofthepalehorse="Riderofthepalehorse"I’m undecided if Big Chris needs a rest, or more game time, he’s been a superb signing and can’t wait for Tag, Evans, to join the pack. As I said earlier Manu looked in some discomfort during the game, but surprisingly carried on, perhaps he’s a doubt.'"
A good time to rest either Big Chris or Ligi Sao who has been a machine this season
Maybe a chance to introduce a couple of the younger fringe players into the 17 man squad and actually give them some decent minutes on the field

WOW they need to go to specsavers
This is from the Hudds forum
I was talking to some Giants supporters, over at the seaside, who'd been to the game. They seemed to think Lolohea should get a 5 match ban and Pryce an 8 match ban. They said it was disgusting what had happened.
I only listened to it on the radio and the commentators seemed to think Lolohea had thrown a few punches at "Snake"

| I was in the South Stand and couldn't see if punches were thrown but from the commentary Richard Stead said Lolohea was throwing punches and was surprised he didn't get sent off.

| I was sitting right behind the posts near the front of the North Stand. What happened the scrum half kicked the ball through it bounced off Tuis legs Conner toe poked the ball over the line it ran into the in goal area and Savelio touched down. No arguments there from me perfectly good try, for some reason Conner had to shove his face into Loloheas and scream and laugh, Lolohea pulled back his arm and was about to land a right hook but changed his mind at the last minute and stopped the punch, it then escalated into handbags and pushing and pulling as the other players joined in. At first I thought Lolohea would get a yellow but maybe for once common sense prevailed. Well done on the win yesterday your defense was very good throughout the game, I dont think we come to spoil any games try watching St Helens at the ruck sometimes. All the best for the rest of the season

There seemed to be a bit of niggle between Connor and Lolohea going on all game.
I was pleased we managed to control the ruck for the majority of the game. Levi is a dangerous runner and we kept him quiet.
Jerry and Chris Hill rolled back the years and were very good. Wire must be kicking themselves about Hill
