I thought we tried to over-play everything in the first quarter. As a result we gave up possesion and any chance of building some pressure.

If we'd kept our heads I get the feeling we could have posted a few tries early on and gone from there. Instead we put ourselves under pressure and then panicked.

True about forward passes but yours last year wasn't even close. Wasn't a line ball it was well forward.

Good for them I've been saying 'Meh' over 2013 for months anyway. I view it as awfully worrying when the previous boss of the officials pretty much says WTF when talking about a decision made by the new boss.

Absolutely delighted with the two points but it was a very poor performance, which is a worry. Massive improvement needed for next weekend.

I keep reliving those moments on 75 minutes. The sheer euphoria when Green touched down, the crushing disappointment when I realised he was miles offside, the disbelieving joy when the try was given...happy days.

Poor by us, I would be worried if I was a rovers fan, why cant they defend like that for other games and they should have killed the game before HT,we gave them so many chances, still the last try will give them something to avoid these questions and also save Eden from a utterly embarrassing attempt to catch the ball.



We played poor and still won.

Incidentally, poor play by Houghton on the Green try. Should have been busting a gut to get in front of the chasers, but strolled up like tomorrow would have done.

What do you mean, drop to? They're already at this level and have been for a while under Cummins. This isn't the first time Ganson has done it, it's possibly just the first time it's affected you.

For those of us who didn't see the game what was our biggest downfall - completion ?

For some reason our derby performances seem to bear no relation to performances prior or previous. Odd.

I'm sure the rules state that if the fullback totally bottles it and chickens out of attempting to catch the ball with no-one within 20 yards then all opposing players are deemed to be onside.

What gets me is how we never seem mentally switched on when we play them.
