I think we l end up introducing Balmforth over Johnstone at some point. Definitely needs releasing though and a youngster giving a chance.



Satae seemed to only play 20 mins, may of thought we looked comfortable so gave him a break.

Understand your point, but its a long season, we're only 6 games in. we saw last year what happened when we burnt Satae out due to injuries etc, he wasn't the same player towards the back end of the year. The less work he is doing now will leave him fresher towards the end of the season.

Think a few years back Swifty would have finished that great break off, we’ve got to be pleased with this start to the season, on paper we’re badly patched up, and it feels like bonus points, bigger tests to come mind.

Think few would argue that we have done better than expected considering not just the amount of injuries we have had but the number of key personnel missing. Will be interesting to see how we cope and develop as a team as we get more of the first team back fit and in the 17.

We have certainly seemed better at dealing with the adversity this season so far than last year when we just capitulated completely.

We just need to maintain consistency for 80 mins week in week out as we certainly stifled Huddersfields attack and didn't allow them to get going even after giving them opportunities to get in to the game the defence was good enough apart from the slight switch off that allowed McQueen in to score. We can't rely on defence like that each week so need to be better in the attacking phase to relieve the amount of pressure to defend we invited on ourselves yesterday.



Evans should be back for the Wigan game too as the 2nd game of his 2 match ban will be the cup game. It may be worth sitting Satae out for the cup game and playing Burrell.

I’m undecided if Big Chris needs a rest, or more game time, he’s been a superb signing and can’t wait for Tag, Evans, to join the pack. As I said earlier Manu looked in some discomfort during the game, but surprisingly carried on, perhaps he’s a doubt.
