Don't people think Cunningham deserves a chance I'd be surprised if he had played 80 minutes of SL for Hull. The London fans were very impressed with him when he had a run of games even out of position for a lot if that.



I'm not saying he is good enough, but to write him off before he has had a chance at Hull us unfair IMO.

Like who, I don't there are many people who think Yeaman is deserving of a starting spot.

Wow......got both thanks and a pair of eyes that I use to actually watch a player and Yeaman was no worse than anyone else last season and better than some but don't let that stop you from not rating a player for a few yrs.If anyone is looking dodgy in the centres it's SA for me as he does seem injury prone.

Yeaman was bang average overall last season IMO. Which, as you say, made him better than some. I have no problem with him getting the number 4 shirt at this stage. But if we want to progress he is not the standard of centre we need, and hasn't been for a while.

What is the standard of centre...they are lacking at the moment......Watkins has been awful for England,he can't tackle a salad and you can add Wellham,Atkins and a few others to them.I haven't got a problem with him starting as it will be good to see how he goes running of Pryce.

Think once it was announced that he was going for a trial for RU it was clear he wouldn't feature.

im with dave k on the cunningham issue, the lad deserves a chance, did well at london in an awful team, lets see what he can do for us, didnt do too badly v leeds in the last home game last season

How many times did you see London play ? Or are you basing that on the press release from us when he was brought back from his loan deal. I mean Scott Moore was keeping him out of the hooker spot for London.

going on what london fans have stated, magic weekend he was one of the better london players, even though he was used in the halves at times, no point being in the squad if not going to be used!

Cunningham deserves as much of a chance as any other squad player. If he is training the house down, shining in the 21's and generally doing better than those in the same position, give him a shot.



With all due respect, Dwayne Barker and Hutch Miaiva would have stood out in the. London team of last year.

Not always the case though - average players can sometimes look much better in a good side, and good players can look very ordinary in a poor side.

Hence the difficulty in getting the mixture right.

Now you know Kirk likes the number 4 shirt as it matches the number of passes he makes per season. Superstitious is our Kirk.

Obviously I do not see as much of Hull as most on here but in my opinion despite a good first seventeen which should improve on last season's 11th place I would be worried if the team suffers injuries. Just my view of course.

They've got the right picture on the website but in the actual paper on Saturday the pictures was definitely McIlorum.

I disagree, I think we have depth in just about all positions. We are relying on youngsters in many cases, but we have some very good youngsters. The one area that concerns me is hooker.

Hooker aside I think we have really good depth and balance within the squad, I can see what other why fans aren't sure about squad as they won't know how good our young players are.



There is a good chance the likes rankin, Yeaman, Bowden, Thompson and Whiting won't get into our 17. That's without the young kids like Naughton, Lancaster, Logan, Abdul and HTW.

If disaster were to strike and Shaul, Lineham, Sa, Pryce, Sneyd, Paea, Green, Houghton, Ellis and Westerman were all unavailable. We would be able to field.

It's still a useful team.

I did post pre season that I thought hull had a decent first seventeen but would struggle when injuries occurred and according to reports today Friday could be a time when some other squad players get a look in. At least Lee Radford isn't downbeat to be fair, in the same article he says hull have only had three bad halves to date and the players have come back happier this week, so all is not lost.

IMO, both teams will be desperate to win after heavy defeats and both have injuries. Depends who want it the most.
