Personally it's always seemed too risky getting them chipped to be honest, esp if you've only just bought the console. Did however buy a Flip Top Lip for my PS2 years ago which allowed you to play official games from Japan, the US etc.

Very tricky trying to navigate the menus etc on Japanese games though.

I was that way inclined as well untill the price of games went to the 40 pound plus mark then i realised that every 5 games was a new console!!!

PS3 is not a chip however and is a fantastic setup for copys.

Xbox is still a chip but if you dont go online its neither here nor there.

Its not actually me who does it but another member of this site whos ace at this sort of stuff (the setups he has on his consoles are to die for) pity hes a Black and White

2nd November is an actual release date I think, they postponed it because the currency is in favour of the Aussies so they may have just imported it to save money if the release dates were the same

Just shows you, I have had this game for 3 weeks never played it just loaded it on the 360 to see if FC team was up to date, got my copy from a mate at Game in York he also got me the wii one as well and its the pal version.

dont know if this has ever been asked before but can anyone tell me if a X Box game bought in USA or OZ can be used on a console in the UK, is it the same format etc .. dont wanna spend cash to find they dont work when back you see

You can use Aus games on UK Xbox because both use same region games.

You should give this game a wide berth it is awful, in fact the wii game plays much better than this one.

Really wish it was possible to get the old EA Sports Aussie RL game on XBox or PC, that was excellent for it's time.

it wouldnt sell many copies to what ea sports are used to though it wouldnt make them much money which is why i recon they are not interested

The game is not bad , not perfect by a long way but it's a rugby league game and given time is ok to play

How up to date are the squads - Brough and Newton still at Wakefield, Cooke at Rovers, Raynor at Hull or Crusaders etc?

Yeah, thought that was a bit stupid really, considering you got into the playoffs last season as well. Can't edit the players or teams, can only create new teams and players and can't add the players to the clubs. So basically, until they do an updated squad, teams will just be uneditable and 2010 squads.
